The FUFA Pilsner Super eight fixture between Wakiso Gaints and KCCA FC has been rescheduled to a later date, it has been confirmed.
The tie was initially set to be played on Thursday, August 1 at Wakisha Resource centre.
However, it has been moved to Tuesday, August 6 at the same venue.
The adjustment has been put into consideration to help KCCA FC be at full strength – the defending champions have more than three players on the national team – Uganda Cranes.
Patrick Kaddu, Allan Okello, Allan Kyambadde, Nicholas Kasozi, Charles Lukwago, Mustafa Kiiza are some of the KCCA FC players currently in Uganda Cranes camp in preparations for the CHAN qualifiers.
The FUFA Pilsner Super Eight tournament was started by FUFA competitions department to help clubs test players during the off season.
The best six teams in the 2018-19 StarTimes Uganda Premier League plus the best 2 sides from the FUFA Big league of last season are the teams to participate in the tournament.
Last season, KCCA walked away with Sh10M while Onduparaka FC got Sh5M. Vipers didn’t honour last year’s tourney due to other commitments.
