Former SC Villa Captain Joins Kyetume FC

Newly promoted Uganda Premier League side Kyetume FC have added two other signings to their squad.

Jonathan ‘Dante’ Mugabi and Siraje Turyamuhebwa have joined the Mukono based giants, The-SportsNation.com sources have confirmed.

Our highly placed sources have also established that the veteran duo have joined on a one year contract.

Dante joins with plenty of experience having captained SC Villa in the 2015 period, however, his era is highlighted by the suspension – He was among the five players suspended by then club president Eng Ben Misagga. The others were Nicholas Ssebwato, Abdu Karim Kasule, Karim Ndugwa and Misi Katende.

Dante joins Kyetume FC after being offloaded by URA FC where he was considered as surplus to requirements.

He also had spells with Sofapaka and Vihiga United in the Kenyan Premier League.

Turyamuhebwa on the other hand, played for Soana (Tooro United) and KCCA FC.

While there are still doubts about Michael Birungi and Dickens Okwir, the club has already acquired Baker Buyala and Joel Mutakubwa.
