Official: Police FC Reveals New Home Ground

StarTimes Uganda Premier League side Police FC have officially announced their new home ground for the 2019/20 season.

The peace keepers will host games at Kavumba Recreation ground, it is official.

We are pleased to announce Kavumba Playground as our New Home for the 2019/20 season,” reads a tweet from the club.

Kavumba, which was home for Soana (Tooro) and used by Mbarara City partly last season, is located along Hoima Road-Wakiso Town Council.

Abdallah Mubiru’s team hosted at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo last season after moving from Namboole Stadium.

Police FC who already lost Paul Willa and Juma Balinya to Vipers and Young Africans, leave Lugogo after the return of Proline FC who will be ground-sharing with KCCA FC.

Police FC have won the league title once – in 2005. They also won the CECAFA Kagame Club Championship in 2006.

It should be noted that SC Villa and Kyetume FC are yet to officially confirm their new home ground next season.
