Kyetume FC have acquired striker Dickens ‘Diarra’ Okwir on loan from Vipers, the-SportsNation.com sources have confirmed.

Okwir joined the Venoms in June 2018 but has failed to convince the Kitende bosses for a place in the starting team.

Consequently, he was loaned out to Paidha Black Angels midway through last season where even his brace against Nyamityobora couldn’t save the Bar Okoro team from going down.

Okwir joined the Venoms from Lira’s Amuka Bright Stars where he was the 2017/18 FUFA Big League top scorer with 12 goals.

He had also played for Onduparaka and Sporting United.

He joins Kyetume FC to help the newly promoted side stay afloat in what promises to be a competitive season.

The Club had already acquired Joel Mutakubwa and Baker Buyala from Tooro United.
