KCCA FC attacking forward Mike Mutyaba has said that their 2019 CECAFA Kagame Cup final with Azam will not be easy as the sides set to lock horns at Kigali Stadium.

KCCA FC will be looking to win their first regional title since 1978 when they beat Tanzania’s Simba SC in the finals via shootouts.

He also revealed that they are privileged as players have taken the club to this year’s finals after a very long time.

“Its a previllage to us players that we have taken KCCA to final and it will be big for us to be in history that these are the players that won KCCA the second CECAFA Kagame cup tittle if we win it,” said Mutyaba.

Azam will bank on history as their triumph on Sunday will represent a hat-trick of titles for the Tanzanian side who also won it in 2015 and 2017.

The former Express FC captain also admitted that it won’t be an easy game for his team:

“It won’t be an easy game, it will be a very big game as others have been. We are going to treat the finals as the rest of the games we have played.

“I will be a big achievement for the club as a whole and for each and everyone who is on the club,” Mutyaba added

With the efforts of young lads who are currently doing well on the team and individual brilliance of senior players, Mutyaba believes will help to overcome Azam.

KCCA FC will be seeking for a sweet revenge over Azam who denied them 2015 CECAFA finals after a 2-1 defeat in semis.
