UCU Canons dispatched Ndejje University Angels to record a 64-57 victory in a National Basketball League game played at YMCA court in Wandegeya, Kampala.

Ndejje dominated proceedings to lead 29-25 at halftime but a few turnovers and failure to execute inside the paint saw the lead pass through their hands.

The Mukono based side won the third quarter 21-9 and held on to win the close affair.

This was Ndejje’s eighth loss of the season. They have won seven games. UCU on the other hand extend their lead at the summit with 14 wins and two losses.

The game between Oilers and JKL Dolphins was halted inside the second quarter following damage of the hoop after James Okello’s dunk. The game will be rescheduled at a latter date.

By rules, it will be started afresh if the rescheduled fixture is set 24 hours after the earlier game.
