KCCA FC players are in line for a minimum of Sh3.6M each if they beat Azam FC at the 2019 CECAFA Kagame Cup finals.

The two sides will go head to head this Sunday at Kigali Stadium, Nyamirambo.

The FUFA president Eng. Moses Magogo has made the pledge.

Magogo who was recently voted as the new CAF executive member for East and Central Africa, paid a courtesy visit to the team in Rwanda at their Hilltop hotel.

“KCCA FC is the only professional team in Uganda and I admire your progress in developing talents,” Magogo reportedly told the players.

“If you win this CECAFA Kagame cup against Azam FC, I am rewarding each player $1000.”

It should be remembered that the winner of the this tournament will pocket $30,000 in prize money while first and second runners up will receive $20,000 and $10,000 respectively.

To reach this stage, KCCA FC needed extra time to beat Green Eagles of Zambia 4-3 after normal time had ended 2-2.
