JKL Lady Dolphins extended their unbeaten run with another convincing display over KIU Rangers as the National Basketball League returned.

Henry Malinga’s girls pummeled KIU 105-39, to record their fifth 100-point game of the season.

They previously beat UMU Ravens (109-39, 107-26), MUK Sparks (109-28) and YMCA Lady Hamsters (121-44).

The club, reigning champions, are still unbeaten in the league with 13 wins from as many games.

Fresh from Zone five, Jamila ‘Zama’ Nansikombi weighed in with a game high 23 points off the bench, and added 11 rebounds to her tally.

Hope Akello also contributed a double double of 19 points and 15 rebounds. Peace Nakirijja (10), Atulinda Maureen (12) and Evelyn Nakiyingi (18) reached double figures.

Ines Kanyamunyu managed 12 points, the only KIU Rangers player to reach double figures.

KIU Rangers who suffered their seventh loss of the season, will return to action on Sunday against Brenda Ekone’s Nkumba Lady Marines.

JKL Lady Dolphins who seals a double after beating KIU in the first round 76-54, will face Angels on Sunday, July 21.

In the men’s game, Joas Maheta and Isaiah Mabeny Ater had 18 and 17 points respectively as UCU Canons eased past KIU Titans who didn’t have Michael Bwanga and Denis Balungu.
