KCCA FC will need at least a point to reach the knockout when they take on Mukura FC at the ongoing 2019 CECAFA Kagame Cup.
Mike Mutebi’s side are the remaining Ugandan side at the tourney and will seek to prolong their stay in Rwanda – Proline FC failed to skip the group stages.
“We are looking forward to winning the game, we have better chances, we have studied them play,” KCCA FC’s defender Peter Magambo noted. “We are hoping for the best.”
“My partnership with Samuel Kato is good, just like Ramathan Musa. We are like crusaders, we are determined to beat everyone.”
KCCA have no injury woes except Saddam Juma but the midfielder is also expected to play a part come Friday.
Juma scored the equaliser as KCCA FC picked a point off Bandari FC. Sadat Anaku was on target for the only goal as KCCA FC beat Azam.
