Buddu have threatened to dishonour their second round Masaza Cup fixture against Mawokota set on July 21 at Namboole Stadium.
The tournament’s organizing committee, on Tuesday at Bulange, docked two points and fined Buddu after they found them guilty of hooliganism during their first round chaotic game with Mawokota on the June 30.

“We respect the committee’s decision because it was put up by his majesty the Kabaka of Buganda and therefore we will not appeal the decision,” Buddu team manager David Byaruhanga told this website.
“However, we put in a lot of money which we don’t expect to get back. So, we don’t have enough resources (money) to take us to Namboole and if the committee don’t give us the money to move, we will not go to namboole.”
There were ugly scenes when Police fired shots into Buddu fans where one person was later confirmed dead, in a said fixture.
It should be noted that Buddu won this title in 2016 after edging Gomba in penalties, and they remain the most followed and supported team in Masaza tournament.
In the previous edition, Buddu lost to Ssingo in shootouts at Namboole.
