Police FC has issued out strong warns on SC Vipers after the Kitende based side ‘controversially’ unveiled Paul Willa on Thursday at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
The right back was confirmed as a new Venom via Vipers’ official website, citing that he had signed a three year deal on an undisclosed fee.
While addressing the press at Kibuli Police Training school, Club CEO ASP Francis Kidega revealed that they have not entered any negotiations with Vipers concerning the sale of Willa.
He added that Willa is still in their books, and contracted until July 2021.
“Its a bit disrespecting from Vipers,” started the calm but disappointed ASP. “Willa is still our player and Vipers has not contacted us about his deal.”
“We are not against any player’s transfer we can’t sit on Willa when he wants to go but what we want is to follow procedures.
“We hereby call upon Vipers to follow the right procedures. We are the custodians of the law and we don’t want to unleash our iron on them. We don’t want wrangles with anyone.”
Kidega revealed that Willa’s buyout close is at 50,000 dollars and any club that wants to buy him or any other player at Police FC, should visit their office because they are always open for business.
He added that as the club, they have already written to Football governing body in the country, FUFA concerning the matter.
Police FC also confirmed that Hassan Kalega and Ashraf Mugume have had their loan deals from Vipers come to an end and are expected to return to Kitende. Also, they confirmed that Juma Balinya’s contract had expired before his lucrative deal to join Young Africans.
