Former Express FC, Vipers Sc and Proline Fc Joseph Ssemujju has decided not to renew his contract with the SC Villa.
Ssemujju who signed for the record champions at the start of 2018/19 season from Express FC but has confirmed that he has ended his duties with the Nsambya based club.
He confirmed the development via a long Facebook post on his account.
“I am blessed to have been part of this wonderful club Great history as of June 19, 2019,,” Ssemujju posted.
“I can confirm I won’t renew my contract with SC Villa. Thanks for everything most especially the fans, players, coaches and the entire SC Villa family I wish the club the very best.”
The silky winger, when contacted by this Website on the reasons behind his exit, he revealed:
“I could love to play for this historical club but we have failed to put in place the promises. may be I will return to the club when everything is in it’s righteous.”
However the midfielder’s next more is still unknown.
Ssemujju becomes the second player to confirm his departure from SC Villa – A week ago, Pius Wangi who signed from Vipers SC confirmed his departure too.
It’s reported that defender Shafiq Bakaki is linked to Zambia outfit Nkana United where he will be flying soon for his trials.
