The Egypt senior Men and Women national teams have arrived in Kampala ahead of the 2019 FIBA Africa Zone five Basketball championship.
The tourney is set in Kampala at Lugogo Indoor Arena from June 26 to July 1.
The team arrived on Monday, June 24 at 12:30 PM aboard Ethiopian Airways. They were received by FUBA Vice President Hudson Ssegamwenge at Entebbe International Airport.

The contingent of 35 people, players and officials, will be residing at Nob View Hotel in Ntinda, this website can confirm.
The side will be training at Kampala International School (KISU) ahead of the tourney.
The team is under the chairmanship of Captain Khaled Al-Koussi, member of the Board of Directors in preparation for the fifth zone qualifiers.

Egypt will be competing with hosts Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Burundi. Tanzania among others in Kampala.
Rwanda is expected to arrive tonight at 9PM while Kenya will fly in on Tuesday at 8AM.
