Michael Nam Ouma is going nowhere, his job is safe – Vipers have assured their coach as the club is set to start training on Monday, June 23.
It should be noted that the former Kenya U17 coach was initially to be appointed on a short term contract on December 30, 2018 replacing Mexican Javier Martinez Espinoza.
Sources towards the end of last season had claimed that Vipers will be outsourcing for another foreign coach before the start of the 2019/20 season to replace Ouma.

However, it has been confirmed that the Ouma will be in charge of Monday’s training at Kitende.
His team that has Edward Golola, Moses Oloya, Edward Ssali and Ram Nyakana has been retained.
It should be noted that Nam won nine of 15 second round games to finish seven points short of the league title.

KCCA won the league on 66 points as Vipers collected 59 to occupy second place.
Nam made the Kitende based side play an attacking and entertaining football compared to that of his predecessor.
However, his career came at a low when the club lost to Proline FC in the Uganda Cup, the only title that Vipers were destined to win. Also, he was criticised in home losses against rivals SC Villa and URA FC.
Vipers who will start the new season with Allan Kayiwa, will be in quest to dethrone KCCA FC in the league that is expected to start in September.
