Uganda lost its second game at the ongoing Genocide Memorial (Kwibuka) Cricket T20 tournament in Kigali, Rwanda.

Coming into the game in buoyant mood after setting records in Mali victory, Lady Cricket Cranes failed to replicate their dominance against Tanzania, falling by six wickets on Friday at Gahanga International Cricket Stadium.

This is the second loss for the Ladies who had lost to Tanzania in the opener by five runs.

Rita Musamali and Immaculate Nakisuyi scored 43 runs each as Uganda set 109 for the fall of four wickets, but failed to defend the score in the second innings.

Tanzania, led by captain Fatuma Omar Kisabu scored 53 runs off 58 balls not out to successful chase the score with about five balls to go.

Despite efforts from especially Joyce Mary Apio who picked two wickets in her four overs, Uganda failed to restrict an explosive Tanznaian side who remain top favourites to clinch the tourney.
