Sharing Youth’s Caesar Kizito will be the star attraction as the Select side take on Silverbacks in the friendly game at Indoor arena in Lugogo, Kampala.

The friendly is expected to fine tune the National team ahead of their FIBA Zone five Championship set on June 26.

Kizito who many thought would be on the Silverbacks squad summoned earlier, has been an integral figure since this league season started with Sharing Youth.

The energetic player has scored 234 points, only Betway Power’s Syrus Kiviiri (245) has scored more – He has 27 assists, 21 steals and 77 rebounds from 12 games.

Other notable players on the select squad, which were initially summoned on the National team but then later left out, have been named on the select squad. They include David ‘Dikong’ Deng Kongor and Daniel ‘Dudus’ Manoja who play for UCU Canons and JKL Dolphins respectively.

Warriors’ Chris Omanye, Amisi ‘Carmelo’ Saidi and Mike Buzangu also make the select squad. KIU Titans’ trio of Michael Bwanga, Sudi Ulanga and Denis Balungu have been included.

The team will be coached by Brian Wathum (KIU Titans coach) and Mohammed Santur (City Oilers Manager).
