With the 2019/20 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season is still many days away, Mbarara City are not taking chances.
The Ankole Lions have made their third signing to boost their squad in preparation for the upcoming league marathon.
Solomon Okwalinga is the third addition, on a two year contract and will don’t Jersey no 17, the club has confirmed.

He joins Gaddafi Gadinho and Bashir Muweesi who had joined earlier in May this year.
Okwalinga joins the team from Onduparaka FC. This is his second spell at the club – the midfielder had joined Mbarara in 2018 to KCCA FC before joining the Arua based side.
Okwalinga who had a spell with Synergy FC before joining the Western Giants in 2017, is expected to strengthen an attacking force that already has Paul Mucureezi, Ibrahim Orit, Jude Ssemugabi and Gaddinho.
