It is expected that the opportunity comes with a priceless chance to play with the Dallas Wings – a professional basketball team that plays in Women National Basketball League.

The tall youngster has been an influential pillar for the table leaders. She, averaging 25 minutes and 15 points, has played all the nine matches and started seven of those games.

The 18 year old who helped JKL win the UCU Invitational tournament this year, has been named FUBA player of the game three times. She has totalled 139 points, 76 rebounds, 11 steals and 16 assists.

#7 on the line

She was one of the three players that joined the defending League champions – Moureen Atulinde (from KIU) and Brenda Nakitende (from A1 Challenge) were the other two acquisitions.

The former Buddo student had joined JKL on a four year deal. She was the MVP as Buddo SS won the 2018 East Africa Games after beating St Mary’s Kitende.

She is tipped to follow into the footsteps of Claire Lamunu.

It should be noted that Asinde made the 3X3 team that represented Uganda at the 2018 U23 Nations League in Mongolia.
