Uganda Cranes contingent has left the country for another camp in Abu Dhabi ahead of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
This is intended to fine tune the side and acclimatise with the weather which is similar to that in Egypt.
The team started their residential camp three weeks back at Kabira Country Club.
“The team looks in shape,” said Cranes captain Dennis Onyango before the team left. “The last weeks have been held to improve on our fitness level but travelling to Abu Dhabi is another step for us to acclimatise with the weather to work harder on our play and of course organise ourselves to get the right combination for the team and fight for the nation.”
Uganda qualified to play in AFCON which is set in June in Egypt and are in group A alongside the hosts, DR Congo and Zimbabwe.
