*Nigeria Vs Angola, 2:00 PM
*Tanzania Vs Uganda, 5:00 PM
Uganda’s boys football U17 National Team, the Cubs will face hosts Tanzania U17 team in the AFCON U17 team with the loser facing exit.
Both sides lost their respective opening fixtures – Tanzania fell 5-4 to Nigeria while 10 man Cubs was edged by Angola.
The tourney, will see the top two teams of each group (Pool A and B) advance to the semi-finals and qualify for the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
“Its a game we both want to win,” noted Cubs coach Fabin Kwesi. “We are going to approach it knowing what is at stake. We have done our home work well and we want to get all the three points.”
“Tanzania will have the 12th person (fans) to support them but the fans don’t win matches, it’s your ability on the pitch. We have played them before and we did well although I wasn’t the coach then, I believe that it gives us psychological advantage.”
In their loss to Nigeria, Tanzania manage to score four goals and Coach Kwesi expressed his concern about the opponent’s attacking prowess, adding that his side has to put in a lot of work.

Ibrahim Juma was sent off in the 87th minute so is suspended but coach Kwesi will be concerned by his team’s inability to bury chances after Ivan Asaba, Rogers Mugisha, Yiga Najib all wasted opportunities against Angola.
The coach will also hope that goalkeeper Jack Komakech is at his best if Uganda can overcome the neighbours in a crunch derby.
