Basketball governing body in Uganda, the Federation of Uganda Basketball Association has put up new strategies in a bid to increase the fan base for the league.
Vice President Publicity and Marketing Arnold Katabi confirmed that Women will enter free of charge on Wednesday.
“This is a president’s innovation which we passed,” Katabi confirmed to the SportsNation.
The development comes amidst reduced attendance at the Arenas.
Other developments will see University students pay half of the entrace fee when their Universities/Institutions are playing.
The Children below 10 years and all secondary school students with IDs will enter for free on Saturday and Sunday games.
