Express FC will face fellow league side Bright Stars in this year’s Stanbic Uganda Cup semis.
Big league teams Proline and Kyetume will also face off in the other encounter with a finals slot at stake.
The draw was conducted on Wednesday morning at FUFA house in Mengo where it was revealed that the finals will be played at Masaka Recreation Stadium on May 25.
The semi finals first leg are slated for April 24th-28th, 2019 and the return leg will be held on May 5th-9th, 2019.
Bright Stars and Kyetume will host the first legs of their respective encounters at Mwererwe and Mukono respectively.
In the league this season, Express and Bright Stars shared spoils with Eric Kambale scoring for Express before Brian Kayanja levelled matters. Both sides are yet to meet for the return league for the ongoing league campaign.
To reach this stage, Express eliminated BUL FC at the quarter finals. The side had earlier eliminated Paidha, Water and Police FC.
The record winners were knocked out by Kitara FC at an earlier stage last season.
Bright Stars on the hand, their road to the semis had Kazo Excel, Bumate, URA and Nebbi Central.
Last season, Bright Stars journey was ended at the round of 16 following a 2-0 loss against Villa. George Senkaba and Godfrey Lwesibawa scored for the Jogoos.
