Paidha Black Angels 0-2 KCCA FC
(Bar Okoro Stadium, Zombo)
Paidha Black Angels are all but relegated. It’s end of the road for the Zombo-based side in the Uganda Premier League who will now play their remainder of their league games for formality.
KCCA put the final nail in Paidha’s relegation coffin to end the club’s woeful season in their debut appearance in top flight.
Muzamir Mutyaba put the Garbage Collectors in the lead just two minutes at the restart before Patrick Kaddu scored from the spot after Allan Kyambadde was brought down in the forbidden area in the 84th minute.

Paidha remain at the foot of the table with 12 points – The club can finish the season with 24 points if they win all four of their remaining games, which can not mathematically lift them above Maroons who is currently on 26 points, in 13th place, just a place above safety.
KCCA FC have now collected 56 points, seven above second places Vipers on 49 who visit a tricky Mbarara City FC side on Wednesday.
Relegation Was Inevitable For Paidha
Paidha’s relegation was long overdue as the club hosted more than half of their home games ‘away from home’ in Arua at Onduparaka’s Greenlight Stadium.
The club faced financial constraints, administration wrangles and dropping back to FUFA Big league has been inevitable.
Anthony Ssekito was recently named as the new Club coach, replacing Charles ‘Kadidi’ Ssenyange who parted the club after mutual consent.
Before the KCCA game, Paidha also parted ways with Deputy CEO Fred Akena who they accused of fraud and incompetency.
Next for Paidha is a trip to Kirinya Jinja SS before hosting Onduparaka in what will be a fierce derby. Vipers at home and Bright Stars in Mwererwe will be their last two fixtures.
