KCCA FC 1-1 Vipers SC

Suleiman Mike Mutyaba kept KCCA’s title chances alive with a second half equaliser against SC Vipers in an intense affair played at Lugogo.
Brian Nkuubi gave the Venoms an halftime lead when he fired in after KCCA failed to clear away Tom Masiko’s freekick.
Mutyaba came to the rescue – benefiting from his side’s strong second half performance – He ran free on goal after being freed by Allan Okello to slot home four minutes from restart.
The Venoms who made several changes in their starting team with Henry Katongole, Diego Hamis Kiiza and Yayo Lutimba starting, had their best chance in the second half wastes by goalscorer Nkuubi who looped over the goal.
KCCA FC on 53, remain four points above Vipers on 49 with five games remaining.

KCCA Come Back Strong
The hosts had a poor first half by their standards as they created less despite holding an upper hand in possession.
Whatever Coach Mike Mutebi told them in the dressing room, the team talk yielded results.
Shaban Nunda and Sadat Anaku paved way for Gift Ali and Patrick Kaddu at the restart and the hosts started clicking especially going forward.
Mutyaba’s goal was the tenth in the league this season, finishing off a good penetrating pass from Okello who had gone missing in the first half.
Mutyaba almost scored another one two minutes later but headed Musana’s freekick off the target.
KCCA continued to look the better side, denied by the post on double occasions – Okello hit the woodwork before Kaddu’s header also rattled the crossbar.
Derrick Ochan also kept the game at 1-1 when he keeping out Muzamir Mutyaba’s half volley.
