Vipers Sports Club have received a boost as a trio of their players were able to participate in Monday’s training session.
Centre back Livingston Mulondo, Fullback Karim Niyigizimana and goalkeeper Fabien Mutombora all joined the group in the team training at Kitende.
The trio missed the club’s last engagement where Vipers beat up on Maroons 2-0 on March 27.
Mutombora has been away in Burundi with his U-23 side that was eliminated by Congo in the third round of the CAF U-23 Olympics qualifiers, Niyigizimana was rested after helping Burundi to qualify for AFCON 2019 while Mulondo is recovering from an injury.
The return of the trio will be welcoming news for Coach Nam Michael Ouma, who will need nothing but a win when Vipers visit KCCA FC at Lugogo on Thursday in a title decider.
Vipers occupy second place with 48 points, four below leaders KCCA FC.
Bashir Ssekagya and Geoffrey Wasswa remain the long term absentees for the league defending champions.
