Express FC will be targeting maximum points when they play host to struggling Paidha Black Angels in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

With relegation becoming real for the visitors, Express on the hand will feel that this is the opponent they must beat.

Head Coach George Ssemwogerere who is yet to win at home in the league, said that this is a must win for his charges.

Speaking with the club’s social media personnel Bahat Bukenya, Ssemwogerere commented:

“This is the game we must to win to boost our morale, confidence and set the momentum.”

The Red Eagles, under Ssemwogerere, have been unpredictable.

The side has won two of their seven league games under Coach ‘Sim’, all maximum points coming on the road.

They looked an improved side in loss against URA FC but failed to convert their chances especially in the first stanza before bottling it at the end.

“The playing style has not changed, but the players are getting to know their responsibility and with time, we will be the best passing team around,” bragged Coach Sim.

Express won the reverse fixture in November 3-1 with Tony Odur, Ibrahim Kayiwa and Mubarak Nsubuga scoring in Arua.

The side will hope for the best again, but will have to do it without goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga. The game might hace come too early for Eric Kambale.

Hail Mary: Paidha will need more players to beat the drop

Can Paidha find Solace?

Paidha are rooted at the rock bottom with 12 points from 24 games. They have only won twice, drawn six and lost 16 losses.

This will be the first game for new Coach Anthony Ssekito who replaces Charles ‘Kadidi’ Ssenyange who parted ways with the club recently.

Paidha have lost ten out of their eleven away games this season, the other being a goalless draw with Nyamityobora in Mbarara.

The new coach faces a huge task ahead but is expected to turn tables around, and first up, is a game at Betway Stadium in Wankulukuku.
