UPL: Paidha Black Angels Name New Coach

Uganda Premier league side Paidha Black Angels have named a new coach to see them through for the next remaining games.

“We are so delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Anthony Ssekitto as a caretaker coach until the end of the season,” reads a statement in part, posted on the club’s official Facebook page.

Ssekito comes with vast experience after recent spells at Express/Wembly, Kitara and Amuka Bright Stars football clubs.

The CAF B license holder will be deputised by Ronald Nsubuga who shall double as also a goal keeping coach, the club confirmed.

He replaces Charles Ssenyange Kadidi who agreed to terminate his contract recently.

“The new appointments are expected to improve on the modern coaching methodologies to promote sporting development on the field of play at the club.

“We wish all the new coaches a successful stay at Paidha Black Angels.”

Seekito will be tasked to lead the club’s mission impossible – stay in the top flight.

Paidha are rooted at the rock bottom with 12 points from 24 league games. They have only two wins and six draws. They have scored 15 and conceded 41 goals.

Next for Paidha Black Angels is along trip to face Express FC at Betway Muteesa II Stadium at Wankulukuku.
