JKL Dolphins Sports Club will hold a Charity event dubbed #Anything4Zam Charity Games slated this Friday, 29th March, 2019, at the YMCA Grounds.

There will be two games and an exhibition one between fans.

JKL Lady Dolphins and KCCA Leopards will mix up as per respective captains and play for fun, before JKL Dolphins take on Tropical Royals.

This, is intended to help a troubled Zamzan Nalugo who is suffering with Scoliosis, a medical condition that causes abnormal curvature of the spine.

Nalugo, 24, needs to raise USDs 15,000 to cater for her surgery in India.

The fundraising event is going to be held at YMCA court, Wandegeya – Kampala from 6PM.

“The games are set to be free of charge to all members of the public, with lots of fun activities, auctions and a party experience lined up to facilitate what promises to be a never-seen-before CSR event in the basketball circles,” said Club PR and Marketing Dzyre Mugumisa.

“Sitting, standing, walking and even lying down, at one point or another, is currently a source of pain for her.

“The surgery is very expensive and beyond the financial capability of her family.

“JKL, as part of our CSR, we
found it inevitable to support Zam get closer to achieving the pain free life she deserves. We just hope we can contribute a substantive percentage to the 15000 USDs Zam needs for the surgery.”

Zam, in 2018, acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Development studies from Makerere University.
