Tuesday, March 5
Ndejje University Vs SC Vipers, 4:30 PM

No new injury concerns for Vipers ahead of their tough trip to Luwero to face Ndejje University FC at the Arena of Visions.

The club has confirmed via their official website.

Club’s assistant captain Geofrey Wasswa remains sidelined as he will have to undergo a scan after a recurrence of a knee injury following a return to training a few days back.

Livingstone Mulondo is another absentee at a crucial moment of the season after suffering a knee injury against Tooro United, however, he is expected to resume light training later in the week.

Abraham Ndugwa and Halid Lwaliwa have a light moment before going through their paces.

Other than the above two players together with Bashir Sekagya, the rest of the squad is healthy and available for selection as the battle to recapture the league trophy intensifies.

Vipers won the reverse fixture 1-0 at Kitende in the league opener, courtesy of Davis Kasirye’s late strike.

The Venoms will look to close the gap at the top with a win, level with leaders KCCA FC who will face Tooro United at Buhinga on Wednesday.

Ndejje University are struggling in 14th position with 16 points with only 4 wins out of 22 games played.

The home side will be without Francis Onekalit who is on loan from Vipers thus outlawed since he can’t face his mother club as per the regulations.

Together with Nyamityoboora, Ndejje University have conceded the most number of goals than any other team in the league implying their defence leaks 2 goals per game and they have scored the second least number of goals 16 to be exact & only 3 more than bottom placed Paidha Black Angels.
