SC Villa Vs Police FC
SC Villa will be without the young and talented Derrick Ndahiro when they face Police FC in a StarTimes Uganda Premier League game at Namboole.
The player will miss out due to yellow card accumulation and his absence will be a huge blow for Villa who will seek to bounce back after drawing away to BUL FC.
Ndahiro has been one of Villa’s best players this season and his versatility had seen the player being deployed at the heart of defence.
Villa will however welcome back Mandela Ashraf, Harishe Asuman and wasswa Yusuf from injury.
The game comes too early for Joseph Semujju who has just his light training to enable him recover fully.
In the reverse fixture, Villa squandered away a two goal lead to draw with Police – Charles Lwanga and Bashir Mutanda scored for the Jogoos but Juma Balinya led the surge for Police with a brace.
Last season, both sides shared spoils in a one all draw at Namboole before Martin Kiiza’s goal gave Villa a 1-0 win in Masaka.
Villa come into the game in 12th place with 22 points, six points above the drop zone. Police on the other hand, are ninth with 28 points.
