(Arena of Visions – Bombo)

Express FC will be without youngster Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye when they take on Ndejje University FC in a league game on Tuesday.

Zaga, on loan from Vipers, suffered a mild hamstring injury and is expected to be back at the start of March, the club has confirmed via their official website.

His absence will be a big blow for George Ssemwogerere’s charges as he was the beating heart in a game that Express FC came from down to pick a point off Maroons in a one all draw at Wankulukuku.

The Red Eagles will welcome back Shafic Nana Kaketo who is expected to go direct into the starting lineup – at centre back.

Express FC are ninth on the log with with 25 points from 20 games. The club who spent last season battling relegation, have won six games and shared spoils on seven different occasions.

Resurgent Ndejje University FC

Ndejje, who are playing in the top flight for the first time, have been at the foot of the table since the season started.

However, the club’s surge to beat the drop has got some oxygen after recoejdng back to back wins in their last games – Ndejje beat up on Maroons and Tooro.

The club remain in the red zone with 16 points but just three points adrift of the safe places. A win against Express may instill more confidence and fuel in their race to survive.

The reverse fixture ended goalless at Betway Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
